Sometimes when reading my Bible, I come across some passages that God used to speak to me at a particular time and season of my life. Those passages bring memories of what I was going through and how God encouraged, strengthened and directed me through His Word. In those moments, I am reminded of God’s faithfulness, even when it all seems a bit nebulous.
There are also times that the Holy Spirit reminds us of a prophetic word given to us, perhaps a word about God’s blessings or His intended direction in our lives; and although we may find ourselves in His plans, we could sometimes need a reminder when the storms show up. In those moments, we are to hold on to God’s promises and persevere in spite of the storm.
Isaiah 55:10-11, says, “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it”.
If you are certain you are in His will, then know that His spoken word to you will accomplish every good plan and purpose He has for you.
