Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 : Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up.
In the last two weeks I have been regularly in and out of London. On show is a statue of the faithful dog called Gromit. For those who don’t know Gromit is the dog of a man called Wallace. Sometimes Wallace gets into a real mess but Gromit gets him out of trouble with out making a big fuss.
In the church it is important that we have faithful and loving friends around us. As the passage from Ecclesiastes says “Two is better than one” and if we fall down our friend can help us up again. My hope and prayer is that we can be excellent friends at church and bless each other with acts of kindness so that the community around will see this and testify to the love of Jesus in our midst.

Dear heavenly father, thank you for the gift of friendship. We pray that you will help us to be faithful and true friends to others around us and to show the love of Jesus in thought and Deed. AMEN

God bless and much love from
Pastor David
